Passive Diagnostics Capabilities
The Anybus EtherTAP: 1G monitoring interface serves as a bridge between the portable Mercury tablet or the permanent Atlas module and Anybus’ advanced diagnostics tool, Osiris. By using the Anybus EtherTAP: 1G, both the Mercury and Atlas can effectively analyse the information feed from your industrial network.
The Anybus EtherTAP: 1G is a portable tool that provides the convenience of passive monitoring, granting you access to detailed information about your network’s behaviour. By using this tool to gain a better understanding of your network’s health, you can take proactive measures to improve your network’s performance.
With a USB connection to the laptop, the EtherTAP: 1G transfers the captured messages to the appropriate driver. This driver emulates an additional Ethernet port on the laptop and forwards messages to each application, ensuring a reliable monitoring solution for your network.
