PI Asset Framework
This course covers methodologies for building asset representations (AF Elements) and their data (AF Attributes), along with real-time calculations (Asset Analytics), automatic event creation (Event Frames), and email notifications (PI Notifications).

This course is completed within four days.

Upon completion of the course, attendees will be awarded a certificate of attendance.
Course Information
Begin with a nearly empty AF database and progressively build an AF structure for multiple sites, each increasing in complexity. Along the way, explore how design choices impact visualisation in PI Vision and refine your AF deployment accordingly.
By the end of Part 1, you will understand how AF design decisions influence display options in PI Vision. Continuing to Part 2, you will apply best practices, enhance PI Vision displays, and build the final site by having AF create and configure tags on the Data Archive.
PI Vision Part 1: Visualising AF Hierarchy, Optimising AF Templates, Site Name and Well Name as Attributes Using Categories, Enumeration Sets, and Limits.
PI Vision Part 2: Enhancing Visualisations with Optimised Templates, Limits and Enumeration Sets Exercises, Expanding to a Site Without Tag Naming Conventions, Creating Tags via AF.
PI Vision Part 3: Optimising Asset Swapping, Solutions to Exercises.
Prerequisites
This course covers advanced content. Participants should have a technical qualification, experience working with digital communication systems, and strong proficiency in English.
