Anybus Wireless Managed L2 Switch for Factory Automation Applications

The Anybus managed Layer 2 PoE (Power over Ethernet) switch is designed to create reliable and secure data networks in harsh industrial environments. This versatile switch is ideal for factory automation applications.

By enabling both power and data to be sent over a single Ethernet cable, the switch provides a cost-effective and easy-to-use solution for wireless access points, security cameras and, in combination with the Anybus Bolt, to connect industrial machines.

A large range of network functions

The switch is equipped with two SFP (small form-factor pluggable) slots for high-speed uplink to backbone switches and eight gigabit Ethernet ports with PoE capacity for easy data connection and power supply through the same network cable. A fiber connection can be used to enable long-distance connections or to provide reliable data communication in environments with high electromagnetic interference.

 

A range of network management functions make it possible to segment, control and ensure data is processed as expected. VLAN, QoS, IGMP Snooping and LACP/Trunk allow you to create extremely reliable networks suitable for critical applications. RSTP (Rapid Spanning Tree Protocol) support enables ring-configured networks for increased resilience and advanced security features, such as 802.1x port-based access control provides a high level of protection against cyber threats.
